Founding Great Lakes Retirement Planning, LLC in 2017 to employ disruptive methodologies to meet the needs of today’s investor. Seku founded the Great Lakes Family of Companies, LLC in 2022 with financially related entities such as the Great Lakes Commercial Mortgages, LLC; Great Lakes Rental Mortgages, LLC; Great Lakes Loan Servicing, LLC and soon the family will include Great Lakes Securities, LLC a specialized securities broker/dealer.
Seku believes in giving back to the community as well, he currently is a board member of the Friends of Breakthrough Public Charter Schools.
As Chief Investment Officer of Great Lakes Retirement Planning, LLC. Doug brings more than 30 years of industry experience in research, product development, as well as portfolio development and management.
In 2004 Doug joined UBS’s research department as Chief Portfolio Strategist. In 2005 he transitioned to UBS Wealth Management Solutions. Doug soon became Managing Director and Head of Investment Management, a division he created.
His team built portfolio strategies for the private client group as well as portfolio modeling at the enterprise level. The team was responsible for 3rd party advisor due diligence for UBS Advisory Solutions.
Doug spent more than 10 years at Merrill Lynch building the industry’s first global emerging markets strategy service; global sector investment advisory services product and a cloud-based asset allocation modeling app for global institutions.
In 2015 Doug founded Wilde Capital Management, LLC, where he is Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer. The firm provides advisory and sub-advisor solutions.
